Public Gardens Bird Tour

Free weekly bird tour in and around Camp Hill Cemetery and the Halifax Public Gardens. The walk begins at the Summer Street entrance to Camp Hill Cemetery, then continues into the Public Gardens to listen, observe and learn about local birdlife. Open to all experience levels. No registration is needed. Bring binoculars if you have them, dress for the weather and arrive before 7:30 AM. The tour runs rain or shine but may be cancelled for thunder or lightning. During Pride Month, some tours include insights about same sex pair bonding and queer behaviour in the bird world. Price: Free
